a 20 penny nail,
and a head with no sense.

The human blockhead as it is known today is an ancient yogi feat, and has been performed in torture or "pain resistance" acts for hundreds of years, however the modern act was invented by side show legend Melvin Burkheart, who's creativity has inspired virtually every sideshow performer for the last 50 years. Thank you Melvin.
My performance of the "blockhead" involves hammering a spike 6" in length directly into the center of my skull; this may then be followed up with a screwdriver or powerdrill.
